Sign in to Google Merchant Center, then go to the Feeds section of the Products page. Click "Add additional feed". Complete the information about your data (additional feed name, upload method, file name, etc.). In the Configuration tab, create an upload schedule. This way, up-to-date files will be downloaded without having to manually upload them. Once you associate your secondary feed with your primary feed, Merchant Center will automatically create a rule that you can find in the Rules section. This rule will bind product data from both feeds and combine attribute data from an additional data source.

Feed Rules - Outsmart IT When you do not use IT resources and create your product feed yourself, one of the problems is the inability to edit it in Google Merchant Center. You can edit it in Google Sheets, but if you are constantly expanding your assortment and have phone number list many products in the store, then in the long run, manually adding attributes to the file is at least tedious. . Thanks to them, you can add missing attributes, e. color, brand, size, divide the PLA campaign into several separate ones, e. due to the best/worst selling products, or use custom labels when, for example, you want to extract all the cheapest things to a separate campaign.

Thanks to them, you can fix data file errors yourself, without the help of the IT department, saving a lot of time and nerves. Feed rules are designed to help you transform values in your feed without having to edit the feed itself. An example of using rules: Adding custom labels - this is one of the basic optimization rules, very helpful if you want to, for example, divide products according to the lowest/highest price, worst/best sales, etc. Thanks to labels, you group your products according to the above categories and adjust the appropriate cpc rates for each of them. Where to find the rules? After logging in to Google Merchant Center, select the Products tab -> Data files -> Click on your file -> Rules (at the top of the page) -> Create a rule.
