PortCastelló closed the first quarter of the year growing 12.3% compared to the same period of the previous year in freight traffic and recorded 5,413,135 tons. It thus continues its path of growth, in line with what happened in 2021 .
This figure, released by PortCastelló, is due to the good performance Phone Number List of solid bulk, which increased by 43.4% in the accumulated amount, reaching 2,670,823 tons. On the contrary, liquid bulk traffic decreased by 1.9%, totaling 2,418,960 tons, and general merchandise traffic decreased by 34.6%, with 314,667 tons.
With these data, the type of traffic with the greatest weight so far this year in the port of Castellón is solid bulk, which represents 49.4%, followed by liquid bulk, which represents 44.8%, and Finally, general merchandise, which represents 5.8% of the total.
