We used SketchUp from start to finish in the design process. At the beginning of the project, landscapers used SketchUp to illustrate the entire park and map out the intended location for the stream and dam. It was an essential tool to show the different parts of the park to the municipality in order to understand its intention for the finished product. Later, SketchUp was used in the project to make the detailed design of specific parts of the park, such as the wooden bridge, the steel plates used for the fort, the wooden benches, the small cubes for the playground, the illustrations of the concrete rings for the playground and many other park design elements. "SketchUp was extremely important in communicating with city officials because it allowed us to share plans that they could easily understand." We had many meetings with city officials and explored different ideas collaboratively; This was one of the key reasons we chose SketchUp. We also use SketchUp to generate bidding documents for contractors and create and export detailed drawings of specific parts of Hungary Phone Number List the project, such as the wooden bridge. We used those ideas, took screenshots and put everything into AutoCAD, and added more information to create the finished drawing. Efficiency helped us stay on schedule. In the past, our design team would make the SketchUp model for visualizations in front of the client, and the civil engineer would make the drawings later in AutoCAD.

For this project, we didn't want to spend so much time redrawing in AutoCAD. SketchUp was used throughout the process to make the design better, to save time and money, and to have an efficient workflow. The municipal government was pleased with the result and we met our objectives. SketchUp is essential to our workflow because it's a quick and easy way for clients to visualize ideas. SketchUp helps us create models that are easy to understand, thereby reducing misunderstandings. I loved the ease of collaborating and communicating using the workflow-enabled SketchUp program. Since the , m² park was such a large-scale project, perfect communication was essential for the success of the project.
